July 20

It's been a busy weekend! Saturday around noon we were asked to move out of the house we've been staying in so that a lady and her 3 children who needed a place to live could move in. (because of the abusive situation they were in.) So, we spent a couple hours Saturday afternoon moving across the street to Carla's house.

This morning we got up early to drive Elsa and Alvaro to Belize City so they catch a plane to the US. We arrived at the airport around 9 am, checked them in and had breakfast with them at the airport restaurant before making the 2 hour drive back to Corozal to eat lunch with the teams - fried chicken, french fries and cole slaw at RD's Diner.

Here is a picutre of the two groups playing a little game with their straws and below is Dale chatting with some of the other team members while Eric and Caleb wait patiently for their food.

After dinner we took the team on a walking tour of Corozal and to the Chinese store to buy some food for breakfast.

Dale then preached two services - Cristo Rey at 5 pm and San Narciso at 6:30. Both churches appreciated what he had to say. He preached on 2 Peter 1:1-15. Here he is with Lupe Pena discussing the order of worship at Cristo Rey.

It has been a long day and tomorrow starts another round of workshops that Carla will be teaching. Dale will continue with devotions every morning.

Here, Dale is playing with Abdiel Patt with Loli looking on.
